Great history file starts with original dealer invoice from MB Baltimore to Carson-Pettit the MB dealers in Philadelphia US.

The car was sold to Walter C Pew in Philadelphia, the family is noted for being the owners of Sunoco Oil and one of the most philanthropic families in the US. It doesn't hurt to have had such wealthy ownership!

It has a full service history with the original service book fully stamped until 11/08/1985 at 26917 miles when Walter Pew gave it to his daughter Ann Pew Curran. She continued regular maintenance with Slifer Motor Works PA which is also fully documented with the last invoice being "state inspection" on 30th April 2013 with the mileage noted at 30684.

She later sold it on 26th August 2013 to Joseph Slifer who had previously maintained it. He put it into storage until he sold the storage facility to a dealer who bought the car inside it. The mileage at point of sale on 28th February 2022 was noted to be 30,687 miles.

We purchased the car on 29th August 2022 and shipped it to the UK. Once here it was evident that the paintwork had suffering micro blistering from its period in storage and bare metal repaint was carried out.

Noted MB expert Paul Sumner carried out an extensive service including re-bushing the rear axle, changing all hoses and further works in excess of £4,000. At the same time a set of Michelin MXV-P tyres and new seat belts were also fitted.

Today this extremely low mileage car presents in fabulous original condition, particularly the interior with original carpet, rubber floor mats, and Becker radio. The engine compartment is also worthy of a close look as simply so original

Accompanying the car is the very complete book pack in the original wallet including the very rare service book, many invoices from Ann Pews ownership, a rare factory tool kit, the jack which appears unused. In addition is an near complete set of insurance cards from the Pew family ownership.

It is not often one finds a car with such a comprehensive history with a genuinely low mileage and wonderful provenance from one of America's wealthier families!
